I am unable to load music from my PC to my Motorola cell phone microSD disk. I have formatted the SD in the phone and very time I try to copy the songs to the SD, I receive a message that says there's not enough space to copy the songs. I have 2GB and there's absolutely nothing on it - I just bought the phone.

is your card 2 gigs (max)? are your files mp3 files? you can also try this way.. format card, place it back in cell...connect usb cable (make sure to switch cell to data connection) to cell and pc... copy and paste or click and drag to cell from your pc.. (my computer) ... note you can put music videos on the card too........
according to motorola, this phone has bluetooth and micro SD card slot. if you have computer with bluetooth, then you can pair the computer and phone and simply send music files wirelessly via bluetooth. if you dont have bluetooth, then you can buy a cheap usb bluetooth adapter from ebay and have a bluetooth enabled computer, then follow above step.
if you have SD card slot on your computer then you can get a SD card to micro SD card slot adapter from ebay or elsewhere, where you can simply put music on then card from pc and then transfer the card to the phone.
here is the phone manual.for safety read the whole manual. p.55 for music and p.79 for bluetooth instructions.
[Extra Hardwares Needed]
1. MicroSD card
2. "Micro-B" USB data cable
[Procedure - either PC or Mac]
1. Disconnect USB cable (if you connected already)
2. In Xenon phone
Settings -> More -> Connection -> USB Connection
-> (select) Mass Storage
Note: If you don't do this, you will get an error message
"Unable to use liscense. TRy again after formatting memory card."
3. Insert MicroSD card into Xenon phone slot
4. Connect Xenon phone to PC (or Mac) using USB cable
5. If MicroSD is not accessible as a disk drive, then
(1) remove the MicroSD from Xenon
(2) format the MicroSD from PC
(3) retry step# 3 & 4
6. You can drag & drop your folders and/or files (.mp3 or .m4a only)
into the MicroSD card
7. Disconnect Xenon phone from PC then go to "AT&T Music" -> "Music Player"
Note: All features work except for "Playlists"
8. If you want "Playlists", you need to use Windows Media Player and sync.
iTunes doesn't work since it doesn't allow other devices than iPod.
This means that you cannot use Mac to create/sync the playlist.
Problem: Transferring Music from Computer to A455 Rival Phone
Solution:
You can use the Micro SD card to transfer
music and other media from your PC to the phone, and vice versa. The
microSD card must be inserted for you to be able to view the storage
card menus.
The A455 does support the MicroSDHC card. The Rival can support up to an 8 GB Micro SD card.

In my V-750, I just formatted the MicroSD card from my cell phone and put it into my computer, then dragged the MP3 files to the My Music folder. I didn't need any Motorola CD. Note the order, I first tried to just put the MP3 files on the MicroSD and it didn't work.
Later, I went to the Big Box store they suggested on the Motorola web site and I think I paid $20 for the official USB to Mini USB cable that fits my cell with software to make ring tones and transfers.
If this is on a microSD memory card try getting an SD adaptor to insert your card into the computer directly. Youre computer will recognize it as another memory drive and you can paste files directly into the folder. If you've inserted the memory card into your phone it should be formatted already and it should have file folders you can copy mp3s into.
sharp, you have to format the SD through your phone and then copy the music to the folder provided by the phone for the music. make sure you check the playing / bitrate / file type of audio file that the phone is limited to play.
Download on to your pc free of charge a product by NCH software called, Switch sound file converter it converts all your music to MP3 format very easily.

i found something to fix it. or at least it worked for me http://hddguru.com/download/software/HDDGURU-Low-Level-Format-Tool/LLFsetup.2.36.1181.exe Install that, then run the program and CAREFULLY select your card from the formatting list then do a low level format Then format it on windows or phone or whatever
PLEASE BE CAREFULL NOT TO SELECT YOUR HARD DISK IN THE PROGRAM. IT WILL VAPORIZE ALL YOUR DADA
