I have a 94 buick park ave and i can get the car to start but it dies right away. some times it will run for a while but it then dies. it sounds like it is back firing through the engine and i have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, throttle position sensor, and now the camshaft sensor. after the first things it ran fine for about a week and now it is having serious issues.

I doubt it has anything to do with the transmission.
When the brake pads wear most have a wear sensor that drags along the rotor.
Have you pulled the wheels and checked the brake pads ?

po321 inthe code for the knock sensor error.look for any unusual knock type sounds, such as , noisy rocker arm, harmonic balanced rubber getting loose, or detonation from low octain fuel, or egr malfunction. check to be sure sensor wiring is ok, or that it's not unplugged.knock sensor is there to detect detonation (spark knock) so pcm can ****** timing.

Remove battery cables from battery and clean the connections on all three of them ,replace both bolts to fix.

change the temp sensor on the thermostat housing, i had a problem like that on one once it fixed the problem right up.

That year they had issues with camshaft sensor wires and the crankshaft sensors wires,,touch each other..They run together in a wire harness and the insulation wears out and they touch intermittently..Follow the wires from the cam and the crank and see if they are touching each other

I would pull back until the insulation feel in good shape..Most of the time the wires all right,,just need to retape

they also had an issue where some of the fuel injector wires touched
