My frigidaire GLTF2940ES3 front load washer keeps making beeping noises even when not on. I have unplugged it until using it. Seems to work somewhat but it stops in between cycles, beeps and blinks continues working but makes some strange noises. Also a backward L shows up in the time section. Don't know what to do

Have you had a storm or power surge lately. May need a new electronics panel installed. That is what happened to mine. Once it is fixed, you should get a surge suppressor that is made for major appliances

I had the same problem about a year ago. Out of the blue, the washer would start beeping and blinking. While the washer would run fine, it was annoying. Anyways, I had the service guy in and he had to replace the control board panel (under warranty). Without warranty, the cost of the part would be ~ 150.00. It was fine after that.

I have an ATF8000 that did the same thing, unfortunately when this happens the entire control board must be replaced. I bought it for about $130 from a local appliance repair shop who then installed it for about $50. In all with tax it was near $200 repair.
