I have a Lexmark E250DN printer. The photoconductor kit was full of excess toner. It was easy enough to unscrew the holding tank and to clean out the old toner. Everything seems to work fine now except for some streaking on the printed page on the right hand side. From the way the pattern repeats, it looks like it is related to the green roller. Is there a way to get rid of the streaking? I have tried using rubbing alcohol with a paper towel on the roller but that does not seem to work.

Reinstall the drivers and see if it works.

Otherwise unplug the printer from the power and leave it without power for 10 minutes. Than plug it back in and let me know if it helped.

SOURCE: PAPER JAM

The problem sounds like your rollers have lost their grip. Remove the paper tray and tip the printer up. Push the red lever on the left of the printer down and you will see the feed mechanism with two wheels. Remove the rubbers on the wheels and turn them inside out. Replace them on the wheels with the worn side now inside and the 'sticky" side out. You should get at least another couple of years worth of use before you need to replace them.

My toner cartridge was recently replaced (we use the proper cartridges, not refills) and within about 3 weeks (sooner than last time) the "toner low" light is flashing. The print quality is still perfect....

Visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/8YJwFU, for the instructions on how to reset the pc page count. My Lexmark E250DN said it needed a new Photoconductor so we replaced and it still says we need a new photo conductor, How do I fix this?

Whenever you replace the photoconductor unit, remember to reset the PC counter. With the printer powered on, open the front door/cover. Press and hold the cancel button until all the lights flash. This indicates that the photoconductor page count has been reset. Hope this helps. Thank you for choosing Lexmark.

After changing photoconductor kit and toner, paper jam light stays on and will not go out.

First Make sure you follow the instructions in this link to properly replace and reset your Photoconductor Kit http://bit.ly/9mfe3G.
The if the error light is still on then there might be a piece of paper somewhere in the printer blocking a sensor. Make sure there is no paper jammed in the printer and if there is no paper then a paper sensor is probably damaged.

Lexmark e250dn printer, toner light is flashing, new cartridge

Could be photoconductor at end of life.

You shoul still be able to do a printer test print (press the arrow button).

Look on the printed pagesfor Toner AND Photoconductor.

These show as OK when new or very low count, and 100% when fully used.

If the toner is showing as 100% when you've just replaced it, either the chip is faulty, the wrong one, or if the cartridge is a remanufactured one possibly nor been replaced.
