Hi My Fn key doesn't work anymore. Any help please ? Thank you.

fn is a laptop only thing.

not told what fn , feature you need,
but do try usb f1 to F12. alone, see if that works

There is Fn key that is used to enable or disable the touch-pad

It changes from laptop brand to other,
Try Fn + F6 ( A symbol on the F-key indicates the proper function key.

can u please try to hold the FN key And press The F9 key once and wait a couple of seconds

Maybe you've activated the number lock in the letter keys, try to push another time Fn+NumLock or (try) to tell us the model of the notebook; if that combination doesn't work check the color of "Fn"on the key and search for a block num symbol on the others keys, then push both together.

Hi there,
From what you've mentioned, you have to install a TOSHIBA Hot-key utility that corresponds to the function or other utilities for specific tools. if you have the user manual of your machine it might help.
You can find them on Link, model is L635-S3025, this utilities will work on most L635 regardless of what model. After installing each utility try to press the function key try if it works, until all keys are working. not all utilities are key based some utilities work for protection or notification.

If the keyboard doesn't have a Fn key often the Scroll Lock key is used, try Scr Lk + Down arrow to dim the display.
The manual indicates and Fn Key to the right of the Left Alt Key but that doesn't mean you have that keyboard eitther

Hi SYSTEM RESTORE, go to start icon>accessories>system tools>system restore and choose previous date your computer touchpad works fine.

If the Fn key is not working you can try to clean out under the key with a compressed air can. If that doesn't help the only way to clean the key and get it working again is to take off the keyboard and clean the mechanism directly.

Try tapping the FN+F5 keys twice, or try FN+F3 keys for acer laptops. MAke sure that cables are connected tightly at both ends.
