There are literally SREAKS ACROSS MY SCREEN RUNNING FROM TOP LEFT DOWN TO THE RIGHT ABT 10 - 11 OF THEM. THEY LOOK GLUE LIKE THAT BURNED A LITTLE. WHAT ARE THEY? I DIDN'T CLEAN THE SCREEN WITH ANYTHING AT ALL. IT STARTED WITH ONLY JUST 4-5 LINES THEN TODAY, THERE ARE A LOT ALREADY. THOUGH THEY DON'T REALLY HINDER MY READING, ITS ALARMING BEC OF WHAT PROBLEM THEY MIGHT GIVE ONE DAY. HELP.!

Are you saying about rotating your screen (turn my screen)?
If so you can do that using hotkey controls. press Ctrl+Alt+(any of the arrow key like up/down/left/right).

Or if you are saying abt turning on your screen, you can do that using power options available after clicking on battery icon at the bottom right corner beside the date.

The screen voltage to the picture tube is more than normal. Adjust it by the help of screen pot-meter integrated with Line Output Transformer. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Check this link and select the site named above. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu at the left top corner or the display window. It will make search easy.

On the PS3 start-up screen, scroll all the way to the left.
Now move across right one tab - this is settings.
Scroll up to the top. Scroll down 5 tabs - this is system settings (should have a little spanner and box).
Press X.
Scroll to the top. Now scroll down 2 tabs. This is system language.
English (UK) is near the top. Press X.

if the lines extend top to bottom and are thin, then the LCD panel is most likely defective.

You will need to unplug refrigerator and open plane inside freezer to see if fan is stuck or burned out. If freezer is frozen over with ice you will need to warm the ice for removal. Let me know, when you are ready, Sea Breeze

it is a simple job to fix that. you need to take the whole TV apart and there is a black gasket that falls down on all these TV's. the glue that was on the gasket and the weight of the screen pulls it down more and more. takes about 1 hour by an amateur doing this maybe less for a professional.

I had a similar problem. Mine was on the left side pf the screen. The service guy removed the front to find an adhesive strip running north to south. The glue had heated up and it did not adhear to the plastic therfore, it was hanging down and lamp light projected it on the tv. He pulled it off both side and there was no more lines. He also commented that spiders are a big problem too.
