Is there a manual available for the Tilla Foodsaver Model 115v 50-60 HZ? I've typed it into the search but cannot find anything. I hear the air vacum running and it seems to work for the canister part but not for the food bags. Wondering if it could be clogged and hoping a manual will provide answers

That number appears to be a Serial Number which doesn't aid finding manuals. However, the manual is here

concerning my food sealer: the strip under the heating wire came loose & would not stay in place. i almost threw the unit away but its at least $40 to buy another. i decided to buy a roll of PTFE Coated Fiberglass Fabric With Silicone Adhesive Tape. PTFE is Teflon but u cant use Teflon as a search term because of the copyright. i found a roll on ebay for $3 (free ship) from China (how do they do that!). it took about 2 weeks for the roll to arrive. I cut a strip to fit under the wire. The wire had burned & partially buried itself in the unprotected plastic. Be gentle when nudging it out & clean off any material that has attached itself to the wire. Seals & works like new!
would you like to buy the rest of the roll? the roll has about 28 feet left.

The tape trick didn't work for me. Had to cut the wires. Works for now.

There are general instruction manuals for machines, but we really need a model number to help you. Singer has a LOT of manuals available at www.singer.com. Go under US, then Customer Support, Manuals. Enter your model number (JUSTj the number) and see if your model comes up.

If it doesn't, or if Singer is charging for the manual and you want a free download, please leave me a comment back with the model number. I've got quite a few websites I can search through that may turn a free one up for download, but without the model number I can't do anything further.

Hope this gives you the answer-but please get back to me if it doesn't. There well may be a manual out there, and there's no reason to waste money or a good machine!
