Ps3 can't read the games..PLZ HELP

i believe it is because of the tv the ps3 is fine but the tv is having difficulty reading the ps3

Hi there,
Most PS3 systems end up doing this due to an over heating of the laser lens. Let me explain: The laser lens in the PS3 is made to read mainly Blue Ray games. The movies need to be read faster than the game discs which causes it to work harder thus the problem arising.
Sometimes, your lucky enough for this to only be a dirty lens problem due to rental movies which are most of the time, if not always, dirty.
Have you tried a lens cleaner kit?
This is the CD-ROM with a small brush on it to clean your laser lens head.
This problem has happened to me in the past and this solved the problem.
It is a common problem for any lens reading console.

my ps3 come ,i was playing my game at the end of the game it froze iturn it off and when i cut it back on and put in 1 of my video game.dvd .cd and there was no display is it broken

I had the same problem i had to use the quick format for my system then it worked just fine only thing i don't know is how to restore data lost from the procees

im not a huge expert on ps3's but it sounds to me like the operating system within the PS3 has gone corrupt. no idea on how to fix this one though im afraid id suggest getting in contact with sony

After Sony repairs your machine they give you a 90 day warranty.

Time to call them again.

Make sure you tell them explicitly that you want a NEW blu-ray drive installed.

Otherwise they'll just throw another used one into your machine and this will happen again.

Also NEVER update the firmware with a disc inside.

have an 80 gig machine, downloaded the aptch, played 1 game of CoD and it froze. WTF!!!

Have them check the video card, That's probably why the weird colours are popping up.
