I'm using the West Bend Stir Crazy as part of my Market Research class at American Intercontinental University, and I need to know what is the "Life Cycle" of the popper? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything about it. Please help, my paper is due tomorrow.

Try contacting West Bend about this, but do not be surprised if you results are less than satisfactory.

SOURCE: Need a new plastic top for West Bend Corn Popper

Contact the manufacturer. Most retail stores will not sell parts like this (and if they do, it's probably a store that will be something like a kitchen specialty store--aka, a little more pricey), so the best way to go is to contact them directly so that they can get it for you (and, a lot of times, they can get it for you at a cheaper price, or, if you're under warranty, sometimes for FREE!!).

Their contact number should be either stamped somewhere on the machine (usually on the bottom--might be stamped directly into the plastic, so make sure you have it in really good light when trying to read) or in the product manual (usually near the back of the book).
Good luck! :)

Hi and welcome to Fixya. The wire part I assume is the stirer. Here is what is available for your 82306 Popper. Note there is a difference between 82306 and 82306A models.

Where do I need to go to purchase a replacement power cord for my West Bend Stir Crazy Popcorn Popper?

It's just a standard cord that you can find at the hardware store, but you can also find them here (the West Bend slow cooker cord is the same as the Stir Crazy cord) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290475749907&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

6 cup stir crazy popcorn popper lid

There are lids around your house that will fit this. Try a butter or sour cream lid.
