My gate is equipped with a D3 Centurion gate motor. When I push the button to open the gate, the motor turns in the opposite direction (close) and tends to close further. Then if I deactivate the gear box and open manually, when I re-engage the gear box and try close the gate, it goes till half way. If I insist and push the button again, it opens again and continue running even when the gate is fully open.

If you push the open button and it closes indicates that you have the wrong polarity connected to the motor
gate motors are DC so where the positive and negative wires are connected are critical for rotation direction of the motor

SOURCE: My Liftmaster GDO makes a clicking sound and won't open

See if the trolley is jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit. If so remove the bolt and then run the opener until the door is closed. While the door is closed locate the 'up limit' control which is on the side of the motor unit. Turn this control 2 complete turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Remember to replace the bolt.

SOURCE: my craftsman automatic garage door

Hello. Plug the motor back in but do not attach the door to the trolley. See if the motor runs the trolley up and down. Also manually run the door up and down a few times to check and see if there is anything binding. If there is binding, find the problem, often a loose wheel, also grease the track and lube the wheels with WD-40 penetrating oil. Finally, if the motor runs the trolley up and down with no problem but bawks when the door is attached to the trolley your motor is on it;'s last legs and needs to be replaced. J.

I bought a receiver to pair a Centurion D5 motor with thE Digidoor motor. How do i install the Receiver on a Digidoor motor?

Hi there Vusi.
You should have a manual open and close switch on the wall for your Digidoor. You need to find the two wires which control the open and close functions on the Digidoor Trace these back to the Digidoor motor connect these to the Comm and NO terminals. You also need to supply 12V power to the receiver This needs to be connected to the Possitive and Negative terminals on the receiver. These connections originate in the Digidoor motor housing and can be connected right there. Some Digidoor motors have connection terminals for additional remote receivers in the housing. Remember that the minimum connections needed are Positive, Common(Sometimes the common is also the negative supply so you can bridge the common and negative terminals on the receiver) and NO. Then pair the remote with the receiver as per the instructions in the receiver box. If you still cannot come right post pics of the PC boards of your receiver and Digidoor motor and I will identify the connections for you

Centurion gate motor

These gates have the ability to adjust opening, closing distances and speed. Your manual has the instruction. I would recommend a qualified technician make the adjustments as you have to get inside case(where high voltages are located).

Try to reprogram your remotes.... or replace the batteries even if the l.e.d. still works (it only takes half a volt to make the l.e.d. work but almost the full charge of the batteries are needed to send a working signal.

Reset my centurion gate motor but when i push test button the gate stops half way

Hi there. When you reset the gate motor, did you remember to push the test button at the end of the procedure to confirm the travel limits? Did it complete the setup without a hitch, stopping in the pedestrian position? It might be helpful to check whether the status LED is flashing as this will give you an indication of what the problem could be. If you'd like to provide your number, I can get a support technician to give you a call and run through some diagnostic procedures with you.
