I was on the phone with my BB Torch, then the battery ran out, i got back the next morning, tried to put it on charge, nothing happen, no red light, no indicator , nothing, tried the charge for few ghours then taken battery out ect, tried 2 different charger and USB cord, nothing, checked for sign of water damage on the WDI, all clean and white.

Good Day, Try this first and let me know what happens later. Use something like a needle to scratch the terminals of the battery and put your ****** to the terminals to make it a little wet. Then put the battery back inside the phone without connecting the charger to the phone. Then after the red light comes on, connect the charger. If you are certain the batteries were charged, the cord/charger should have turned it on. If not the solder points of the mini usb have come loose. Had that problem twice. Its common if you use your phone while its still conected to the cord

I' really sorry to tell you, but looks like your phone's logic board is out of work! It happened if mine BB 9000 two moths after the warranty expired! Took to a technician and I was told to replace the logic board! It was happen like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGSRQb1Qb1Y) before it get out of order forever! Hope I have helped you! Just to you to know I tried just about everything that is on the net, and nothing worked!

keeping it plugged in shouldn't have hurt the battery. i would return it if you have a warrenty left... otherwise i would connect to bb desktop mngr and reset to factory settings.(origional settings your phone came with)

Two years is what you can expect from many cell batteries, though I dont have any direct experience with this make.

I think if you replace the battery, your troubles will go away.

This happenned to me too, here's what I did:

- plugged in the charger WITHOUT the battery inside,
- then put in the battery (while still plugged in).
- The phone came back to life and works fine now.

It could need a new battery. It doesn't sound like it's holding a charge anymore.

Lots of battery issues with the Bold. Try taking the battery out, keeping it out and connecting to PC with USB. Do any lights come on? Red light should appear. Put battery in while connected to USB.

Another fix that I found for a friend-leave the battery out of the unit for a day-put it in and plug in power cord or USB. It worked.

This usually means the bb and battery got a little wet or has other issues. Try these solutions in order. They go from easisest to hardest. NOTE: If you have an insurance policy on the bb probably best just to take it in.

1. Remove the back cover. Remove the battery and the SIM card. Wait 30 seconds. Replace SIM, battery and back cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

2. If that doesn't work, allow the bb to remain unplugged but ON for about 24 hours to drain the battery. Remove back cover and battery. Allow battery and opened bb to sit in a dry environment for 24 - 36 hours. Relace battery and cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

3. If that fails retry step 2 but allow battery to FULLY drain then dry out again.

4. Take in.
