First and foremost, there really is no such thing as a Value 3 System by Balboa. Balboa has a large line of systems with various names such as Value Pack Retrofit kits, VS, ES, GS, and our new LM8000 systems. If you can locate your product part number on your system, you can visit the Balboa Direct website manual downloaded section at: BALBOA DIRECT MANUALS and download the latest manual for your product.
Hope that helps.
Thanks but I figured it out myself, by going to the Balboa site and looking at ALL the manuals till I found the one with a photo that matched my unit. It is just too bad that the actual model number does not show up on the control schematic panel in the spa which is the ONLY place with ANY identification...and on that plate it DOES say Balboa Valve 3. But thanks anyway. And the way to adjust the temp down is really odd, so I would never have figured it out by myself.
If you look on each of the Balboa Water Group / Balboa Instruments systems, there is a label at the top of the system that indicates the model number and the part number of the system. you can use either of these numbers to do a search at the Balboa Direct website to locate the replacement system that you need. That label will be on every system because it also contains the company patent information regarding that particular product. This should help locate the information you need.
