I have an lg dishwasher that showed an ie error so I fitted a new inlet valve It now shows an FE code?

The drain pump automatically runs when the FE code is displayed. A leaking water inlet valve or a stuck relay on the electronic control board can allow water to fill the dishwasher constantly. To check for a leaky water inlet valve, unplug the dishwasher and see if the tub continues to fill with water. If it does, shut off the water supply and replace the water inlet valve because the valve is letting water to flow into the dishwasher constantly. If water stops filling when you unplug the dishwasher, then you'll likely need to replace the electronic control board because the control board is constantly sending current to the water inlet valve

My dishwasher(samsung DW7933LRABB) wont fill, it will drain if i put water in the tub. supply is on.

You either have a bad water valve, or a bad case-brake assembly (in which case you should have an error code or blinking light on your console).

Kenmore_665.13129K703_dishwasher clean LED flashing code 6-1, what does this indicate

Hello Gabe,
The F6 error codes means that the control board did not detect any water entering the tub.The F1 error codes means that the water in the tub did not achive the correct temperature...so the F1 code is caused by the F6, since their is not enough water the correct temp will never be achieved. The possible reasons not enough water entered the tub is,a weak inlet valve that is not fully opening to let water flow into the dishwasher
a defective part called the flow meter that is telling the machine it's full when actually their isn't hardly any water in the tub
the filter screen inside of the water inlet valve is built up w/debris and restricting water flow through it
the water line is pinched, or restricted and no or very little water is entering the dishwasher.
Good luck i hope this helps ya to fix your dishwasher,GENE

When I start my dishwasher the check water light keeps comming on. Also the salt light so the machine does not go through its cycle. Can you please advise me the best course of...

Hi, if your unit is getting good water pressure then the problem is going to be your flow meter which is the device that measures how much water is coming into the unit. If it doesn't detect enough water coming into the unit, the dishwasher will hault and give you check water light error. When the error comes up look at the water in the bottom and see if you have enough water in the bottom for a cycle. If not then your flow meter is fine and your unit truely isn't getting enough water which means that either your house isn't giving good water pressure to the dishwasher, or the electronic water valve that connects to the water line from your house is bad and needs to be replaced....

My LG direct drive dishwasher is giving me an IE or 13 error

Hi, according to the owner's manual on mine, "IE ERROR" means it's a 'water input error'. You have to check for a kink or clog to the water hose running to your machine. Once you unclog the water hose, you error code will disappear.

My MDB5600AWW isn't cleaning the dishes. Even easy stuff like wet pasta sauce. I watched/listened and discovered the water is not staying in the tub during wash cycles. It fills, then slowly (1-2 mins)...

Hi,
Check the drain hose... it sounds like it has fallen down too low and is not looped high enough to keep the water in the tub....this will let the water drain right out as it fills like you are saying...

No water in the dishwasher Bosch SHX43M02-48. We turned of the water and forgot to turn it back on and ran the dishwasher. Now the it will not let water in?

Hi, By the information you've supplied, I'd guess you burnt out the coil in the water/fill valve by running it without a water supply to the valve. Are there any other unusual symptom's or error codes ? i.e. drain pump running none stop ? Can you put water into the tub manually and run a rinse cycle without issue ? In any event the valve is pretty inexpensive, usually about $30 or so. The part # 425458 works on all bosch, thermador, gaggenau, and siemens dishwasher built since the early to mid 90's up to present day. Hope this was helpful to you. Thanks for visiting "fixya" today. Good luck. macmarkus :)

Not enough water in tub

Mderford, on a normal fill, the water should be just above the filter screen. 1.8 gallons first fill, 1.7 on all other fills. Don't think it would be a siphoning problem as you are not having this on the pots/pans. Check the float, make sure it is not sticking. You can check the inlet valve filter screen to see if it is not plugged. Run it through the diagnostics cycle by pushing high temp-air dry-high temp-air dry. Some models it's heated dry-normal-heated dry-normal. It will run through a self test for about 20 minutes. See if any error codes come up. Fill time should be approx. 1:30 to 1:40 seconds. If any of the aformentioned doesn't turn up any results, then it's possibly a faulty fill valve drive circuit on the control itself...Catriver..post back.
