Having a headset logo in your phone it causes no ring tones and you cannot hear voice when someone is calling.... if you have a headset, try to plug it and then unplug it... see if the headset logo disappear or not... if not maybe there a problem in your headset terminal... see some expert to fix it....

Your microphone must be on Mute. Click on Speaker icon on the bottom right -> click on "Mixer" -> if you see any of the volumes muted increase their volume and see if problem is solved. Try using a headphone + mic that are made for chatting.

I cant take or make calls on my iphone without the headphones in.
Yea it sounds like the headphone have a sync problem. what you can do i go the Apple store and they should help you out they will swap your headphones and then it should work.
