SOURCE: My plasma TV turns itself off and there's nothing I can do to get it come back on...

This is going to sound stupid, but I have a 42" Philips plasma that'd been having the same problem lately. Eventually, I checked the power cord--have you ever noticed that the cord just hangs straight down from the bottom of the set? My guess is that over time, it slowly gets loosened by gravity, just a bit, so you get a fluttery power connection. Anyway, it didn't feel loose, but I pushed the power cord in as hard as I could, and I haven't had a problem since.

SOURCE: Phillips Plasma 42" TV

It is most likely a power supply failure and if there had been no signs of problems in the video display, it is probably the main power supply rather than one dedicated to the plasma display itself.
You might leave it unplugged overnight to give any stored charge inside the unit a chance to bleed off, the remove the back panel.
The primary supply is normally on a separate board and is characterized by having mostly larger components, including one or more transformers with black ferrite cores. The main supply will be associated closer to the AC input while the high voltage supply which may or may not be separate is not.
If you can locate the board with some confidence, check it visually for any signs of heat such as discoloration of board or components. If it seems OK it may be a candidate for exchange or repair by Philips.
I wouldn't advise removing and sending it before you talk to Philips to see if this is a familiar problem to them.

SOURCE: Black screen on HP PL4260N 42? Plasma HDTV

The problem is the "Y-SUS" board. It is inside the set on the left side with several aluminum heat sinks, under the left side brace bar. You can order this board from Union Electronics at www.ued.com .Search for part number: TNPA3243AB-PA

It lists for about 115$

My Philips 50PF7321D/37 TV picture turns blue after about 30 secs of being on and I cant seem to get it to stop. Also when I turn the TV on it has a black screen with sound for about 15 secs before it

Unplug both the set and a box or receiver if used with the set, remove from power for several minutes and replug all to see if a reboot will help or not.

My power comes on, then the green LED light switches to red, and flashes 6 times over and over. I tried the fix on youtube with the IC capacitors for the 50PF9731D/37 even ordered the $1 capacitors but...

I am definitely a girl explaining this because I don't know the correct parts of the tv. Here goes. We had the same problem last year, called philips they advised I do a software update on the tv because that fixes everything....wrong. The light still flashed and no picture. I called them back and they said I had to find a philips tv repair to take it into....got lucky because there was one close by. Come to find out it was some board inside that cost $400 to repair. I thought cool it's cheaper than a new tv! Worked great until about 2 weeks ago the tv turns on and the light is green and picture pops up a minute later. Oh boy more problems! As I sit here right now my tv no longer has a picture. The green light is on but nothing. It's funny because we had it repaired this time last year. I'm fed up and buying a new tv!

My tv won't turn on red light keeps blinking

I am suspecting some slow and swelled capacitors in the power supply board. If you are technical ,I can guide you fix yourself. A shop should be able to fix for less than $200,if they can repair this board
