I have a Kodak EasyShare M530 camera. My flash has stopped working on it. I have not changed any of the settings on it. I dont know what has happened. Is there a reset button on this camera or anything?

Hello, The firmware is on the Kodak website under, Support, Downloads. Be sure to search for your M530 model to get the proper file.

Sounds like faulty flash capacitor, This is not a user fix, needs to go to shop.

Check settigns or possible burned bulb.

the Flash bulb might have been dead

maybe your lcd do not display or something wrong with you camera button. you can send it to the maintance center

Reset Camera
Reset settings to their default.

Sounds to me like the issue is missing or corrupt software. You can visit Kodaks website to download the latest software for your camera. Be sure that if you have it already installed to uninstall it prior to installing the new version.

Of course this problem is fixable. But the question should be asked as such that ; can it be economically fixed? The answer is Unfortunately.
There is a few ways to solve it.
One: To repair it by changing the capacitor of the flash with a similar out of order camera. But this needs an authorized tecnician and to have similar camera. But this is not an easy way.
Two: To change the flash unit as a complite module by the help of an authorized service. But this is very expensive according to a new camera.
Three: Not to use the flash but going on to use the other parts of the camera. I think this is the best thing to do.

Unfortunately I could not solve your problem but I have given you detailed explanation about what can be done.
