GBC HeatSeal Ultima 65. I want to reset the breaker on the laminator. When I press on the curcuit breaker it gives a little, but it doesn't slide or actually press like a button. How am I supposed to reset it?

It only moves slightly, then it won't move anymore. Your problem may not be the circuit breaker. The on/off switch will do the same thing when it fails. You'll need a multimeter device to check your voltages. Westco Laminating Svcs 405-324-6092

SOURCE: I have a gbc heatseal

There is a small 125 v 10 amp fuse in the circuitry on the right inside the unit. Whether or not this will solve your issue is unknown. I have one apart in front of me right now with other problems.

SOURCE: a laminate and paper jam in a Gbc HeatSeal H425 Laminator

You need to loose the vertical plastic wall on the left side, and pull it up and to the left, only then you would be able to take pink rollers and metal piece away. Step by step do this (BTW, make pictures of each step if you think you will not be able to assemble it back) :

Download parts scheme here (if link is broken I can send you; write to ororeivis [at] g mail com):
http://www.gbcconnect.com/assets/docs/H425_PARTS_POUCH_LAMINATOR.pdf

Take the lid (3) off and hang it on the corner.
Next goes off (42) part.
Now focus on the left side. Take to the side part (30) with 7mm wrench. Then both parts (14) from both sides [4 in total]. Then both parts (2). Then take out screws that are holding this vertical plastic wall place. There is two screws from the outside of laminator in the bottom!
Then black roller (36) you lift up and take out by sliding to the side. Then two long black metal pieces.
Now you should be able to pull up and move to the left that vertical plastic wall on the left side of laminator. If not, try loosing some screws that are in this wall.
Be careful taking melted jammed stuff away from heating panel. Do not over-scratch it, as it is very sensitive.

SOURCE: gbc heatseal ultima 65 won't turn on. It shut

GBC appear to just be a crappy company. I have a Heatseal H212, same problem. Worked fine then one day when I turned it on it never became "ready". I waited a while longer then turned it off.. except it wouldn't let me turn it off. I had to unplug it from the mains to get it off. After that, it would never turn on. Checked the fuse, it was fine.

I have a GBC Heatseal Ultima 65 laminator. Most of the time now, when I press the foward button to laminate something, the rollers keep going in reverse. Any ideas to correct this?

That is a general problem with small synchronous motors, they can run either way. If they start backwards, they are supposed to reverse themselves. Usually, removing the plug and plugging it back in will correct. Eventually, you will need a new motor unit.

Where is the fuse?

The Circuit breaker is located on the underside of the machine near where the electrical cord goes into the laminator. West Laminating Svcs 405-324-6092

GBC Ultima 65 laminator rolls very fast on lowest speed setting and doesn't roll at all on fastest speed setting. Can this be fixed?

sounds like the yellow and the orange wire connectors on the main board from the transformer are reversed. If not, then your main board needs replaced. I have them available, 405-324-6092, Scott,

Does the GBC Ultima 65 have an adjustable pot to increase heat of rollers? If so, where is it located?

Ordinarily, laminators have speed controls to allow the laminated substrate to get hotter.

Top roller of GBC ultima 65 not heating

either the top heater tube, (inside the orange/red roller) is burned out (Open) or the wire on either side of the heater tube is burned or broken in half. It\'s not as bad as you might think.

How do I remove the back of my GBC laminator to remove paper that is stuck inside the unit?

First, you must take out 4 screws out of the cover on each side of the laminator , then you will see the screws that hold the back panel onto the laminator. West Laminating secs 405-324-6092
