    I have the samsung YP-T7JX (the 512 mb I think) and the YP-T7JZ (1gb)
version. I have the software CD installed but its only working with the
1 gb. Anytime I plug the 512 in it says no device is detected. I am using the same USB cord for both devices, both devices work and play music just fine and the screens appear normal on both. I have put songs on both of them in the past but it was on a different computer. Am I
    missing something?

Yes, I have exactly the same problem the "No space for DB please delete more than 4.0 MB" and the device is not recognized by windows, I don´t have the original CD so if U can upload an ISO image of your´s in a site that I could download (neither rapidshare nor megaupload) I will appeciate very, very much.

    Thanks in Advance

Windows does not detect device

your software may be setup for only one device and will only find the latest one. However, when you plug in the 512 model windows should still notify you that something has been attached to the usb port. If the device plays ok the batteries are probably ok and if so it's probably the connector or the cable unless you're using the same cable with both units. If the unit doesn't play it might be the batteries but even then windows should notify you when you connect the device if it's making a connection because the battery charger should start drawing current through the usb cable and windows should sense this. Mine stopped working when my grandson removed the cable while updating the firmware. Had to send it in to get the firmware rebooted

No space for db error message

I have the same issue on my Samsung YP-T7JZ player. Nowhere has a solution. Search on web for days, nothing found. Only solution is, throw it against the wall. Collect the pieces and send them back to the manufacturer because these tech supporters don't know what this issue is.

Samsung YP-Y7JX

Have you tried deleting this 4MB ? ... try it.. if it didn't work.. then hard-reset your MP3 Player, because there is an error in your DB structure caused by false-copying or power spike... something like that.

WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER WONT DETECT DEVICE

i had a similar problem (would not load driver) and was able to solve with the following: 1. install version 10 or greater of windows media player. 2. in Device Manager (hardware tab on System in Control Panel) right click the ? Samsung YP-T7J and pick update driver 3. Select No, not this time, Next> 4. Install from a list...., Next> 5. Don't search, I will choose.., Next> 6. Select Portable Devices, Next> 7. Select MTP Device, Next> 8. The drivers are copied and the device is recognized. There are other prompts depending on your media player config, but only pertains to how the device is handled. jlw.
