My 2002 Yukon Denali XL shut down while my wife was driving it on the highway.When I reached her the truck's battery was completely dead. I purchased a new battery and now there's power but the truck won't turn over and run.It attempts to turn over but won't catch and run. Help!!!

I'll try to help, everytime something gets replaced on these yukons, that circuit needs to be RESET ! Is there a reset button, on your steering wheel, to reset a variety of functions ? , check owners manual, or call your dealer for better advise

sound like battery has weak or battery terminals and post need cleaning. have battery charged and checked, if battery good. alternator not charging battery. if battery over 5 years old more likely battery is bad.if battery too weak head lights wont turn on battery dead this time of year if battery old. cold weather will finish it out.

You'll need to check the circuit from the fuel pump relay back to the pump. The computer grounds the relay.
If the pump is running the filter could be clogged.

Giving it a boost should work. Could be a bad battery or a short in the electrical system causing a 12v draw which will run the battery down.

It could be the vehicle speed sensor.

I had problems with my remote button, with battery fully charged turn on key for ten second, turn key off un-hook positve side of battery, re conect turn key to on postion then try to start, it worked for me I have a 2003 denali yukon XL, the motor would fire then stop.

The easiest way to find the draw is to take a volt/ohm meter and remove the positive lead and connect the meter in series using the amp meter selection. By series, I mean hook the black meter lead to the battery, and the red meter lead to the battery cable.
Check your amp draw. (make sure you remove the bulb for your under hood light and everything off and closed. It should be milliamps.
If you have a more than several milli amps, start disconnecting fuses on at a time and put them back until you find the circuit that is drawing down the battery. Once you find the circuit, then it gets down to finding out whats shorted or bad in that circuit.
