Need operating manual for 6250

Not sure what you mean by 'engine control cord' in relation to a 'kill cord / kill switch'.

Mowers either have a pull cord to start it or electric start. Pulling the cord makes the engine turn over, it fires and runs.

The kill switch does the opposite, it cuts the power to the engine and stops it.

All questions need 'make model (what it is)'. With that we can find the manual on Google.

and have full documents on it. i came with manual new in box and wiring and parts list there, lost the manual did you already?
the one switch on most gens is SPST , 2 PIN SWITCH.

See link above. The cable should be 4 wire twist lock plug (male).

in the recoil section of the motor ( where you pull the cord) there is a small tang that flips out as you start to pull and locks into the top of the pulley
if pulling the cord is not engaging the motor , it is most likely that the tang is broken or stuck in the returned position
may just need a bit of wd-40 or the like or if a new part , any mower repair or honda spares will have the part

Going in and out sounds like the antenna cable got loose, but the not turning on sounds like the fuse blew. Worth checking those 2 things out first and foremost.

try this get a good extension cord test it plug it in now with the trigger pulled wiggle the cord going into the weeder i have in the past moved the cord till i got working and taped it to the handle, if that dosent work get a new one
