It could be the ods sensor ,or may require adjustment of burner manifold pressure . you might want to contact Rheem 800432-8373

2) Error 13 is oxygen depletion sensor activated.
Get more fresh air to unit
Perform required maintenance.
Have qualified service technician test, clean, etc, and possibly replace burner.

3) Repair any brand tankless, same day, yourself for $368

Paloma tankless water heater model no PTG-74XP-2 error code c8

In several cases i have had to change the pcb board.... code 76 is no communication between remote thermostat and pcb..... this is a problem the first generation rheems seem to be having.... contact rheem if under warranty you will need to get pcb and program chip sent to you. Really need a experienced tech to install board and program it for you...... hope this helps...

C4 76 error code on richland waterheater

Richland tankless is made by Rheem.
C7-76 is communication fault with remote.
Turn off power at remote and wait 5 minutes, turn power back on at remote, and see if problem clears.

Tankless water heater, more than any other type of heater, need to be maintained.
Maintaining tankless will probably not affect C7 76 fault code, but can prevent many other common error codes.

After 5 minutes the unit shuts down with an error of C8 13.

Typical manual shows error C8 13 on page 33:
Has to do with air intake, air quality, air shortage, air filter, or internal parts, or combination of internal and external factors

Typical manual also shows regular maintenance on page 29.
The word maintenance is used throughout manual.
Tankless are prone to lime build-up and should be de-limed each year, and cannot be exposed to more than 11 grains of hardness in the water.

Rheem take less hot water shuts down while in shower. Error code 11. Tried using more gas turned on gas dryer. This worked for 2 minutes, then error code 11. So I got a 2 minute army shower.

this is usally a ignition problem...it is usally the flame sensor or ignitor giving problem..if the unit is still under warranty contact rheem...or have a qualified technician check it out..

Paloma PTG 74PVN Tankless Water Heater

did you check the filters on the the water valves, i am not exactly sure about your codes that are shoeing but if you could read it and post them, i know on some of the units 76 means there is low water pressure and the filters are behind 2 caps one on each side above the shut off valve take off the caps and remove the screens, clean them and replace them ,, make sure you turn off the water on both side first or you will get wet

Error 76 can mean communication failure between tankless and remote control, which can include bad remote control, bad wire, bad wiring connector, or PC board failure.
Disconnect remote control and see if tankless will work.

De-lime your shower head, try taking out the water saver at the shower head. Purchase a service kit online and follow directions to clean your water heater with vinegar just like a coffee pot or.... Call a plumber.
