Disconnect power or unplug the machine. Locate the two spring clips that
hold the toppanel to the top of the front panel. Insert a putty knife
and push while lifting panel to release the clips as shown below. Do the same to the clip on
the other side and lift the panel open. Use care not to scratch the paint on the cover or the
front panel. Disconnect the harnesses and slide the panel off the back hinges to remove it.
Remove the screws securing the front panel to the inside of the cabinet.
Rotate the front panel forward, disconnect the wiring, and lift it off from the base clips.
Remove the rear access panel. Pull the idler pulley to the right. remove the belt from the motor pulley, and then slide the belt off the drum to theNMER 336F50 how do - jahn27_628.jpgbr />
Disconnect the wire harnesses from the heater assembly then remove the screws fromNMER 336F50 how do - jahn27_630.jpghe dryer securing the heater housing.
Install the new heater assembly. Reinstall the drum, belt, front panel, and the top panel in reverse steps. Make sure all wire harnesses are connected properly.
