I can record voice, but no guitar. Just as many people on this forum, but i didn't saw a proper answer for my problem. I can hear my guitar im using pro tools SE. The light on my fast track lights up, but there is no signal on my computer. your help would be very appreciated!! In protools Se I selected Guitar instead of voice but that didn't make any difference. I tried audacity. When I put it on mono it only records xlr, but when i put it on stereo it records both inputs but then i have only guitar on the right. So I would like to use Protools SE so if someone has a solution i would be very grateful.

If you have the CD with software "Olympus Voice Album " try install and reconigze tge recorder.

You mean to say you bought a $ 300.00 recorder and didn't take the batteries out during the long time storage?
Hopefully the batteries didn't leak all over the place.

Did you at least try to use new batteries? Two good AAAs can't be very expensive.

Try calling Echo123. If you can hear your own recorded voice then your playback device (headphones, speakers, etc) and microphone are set up correctly and the problem might stem from low internet bandwidth, or that the person you are calling has not set up their sound devices properly.
If you cannot hear your own voice in Echo123 check that your microphone is on.

Test Echo123 again to see if the microphone now works..

first if your phone have a voice recording option check that your **** is working properly or not by recording any voice for 5 to 7 secs. If it is probable that mic is working properly say you listen the recorded voice than you might have muted the voce increae it by side bottons if present or from phone's sound settings

There are a lot of people having the same problem with Vista. Check this link for some ideas. I think there is a new on Microsoft update that addresses this issue under audio drivers that gives you more controls in the playback devices tab. I have the same problem it either accepts voice xlr or guitar xlr but not both inputs at the same time...what to do I have tried everything
