I have a one week old Viking dishwasher 450E has worked fine up till today now it will not start. I push the normal wash it lights up I push the start button it lights up close the door within 4 seconds and then approximately 4 seconds later it keeps three short beeps and the kick plates light constantly blinks. It's likely that the cheap POS start switch under the button has fallen off the cheesy plastic mounting and the button isn't contacting it. Put it back so the ears on switch are under the slots in the panel and dab a TINY bit of super glue where the tabs go into the panel.

You have an intermittent contact somewhere that vibrations will every once in a while restore contact. I would clean and crimp every stinking electrical connection in the unit including the door switch. You do that, and I am sure the unit will be fine..

Check the Carbon Brushes of the motor they normally wear out in 10 or 12 year or even earlier. Check shock 2 absorbers

No all you do is press
Normal-Wash, Heat Dry, Normal-Wash, Heat Dry,Normal Wash, Heat Dry, Normal Wash, Heat Dry
Then all the bottons light up
Don't press anything wait a few minutes and it will work again
I know because today we just had this problem and did this from looking it up online,

Did you try the power on button all the way to the left?

I suspect for either of these units that the timer control boards are bad.

Had the same problem, removed the kick panel to find a set of instructions under the insulation, had to push a sequence of the panel buttons, its been running great for a couple of weeks now!

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

is the clean light blinking, if so make sure water temp is at least 120 degrees
