Did you reformat the card in the camera? That may have caused the problem. Pop along to your friendly camera shop and ask a salesman if he would format your card in a camera which takes the same memory and then ask hin to take a picture with it. Thank him profusely and take the card home and put it in your own camera. It could be problem solved. I'm not sure of the Acer but the Olympus had big problems with the same routine. Actually if you reformatted the card in the camera try doing it in a card reader (If you have one) on your computer. This may solve the problem too. BMW

Don't rule out a card problem. Have you tried using another card or putting this card on another camera? this should tell you if its really a card problem, or something wrong with the camera. I would also suggest that you take a look at the connecting pins between card and camera, put a light in there and look for any bent pins, or pins out of alignment. You could then try formatting the card/resetting the camera, according to the results you get. Good luck!

I left my nikon D3100 outside with the tripod and i forgot to get it,then suddenly it got wet from the rain, what will i do?

Remove the battery imediately, the memory card and the lens. Place the camera body, lens and memory card in a warm dry and place for several days to dry out completely.
When the camers is dry, insert the battery, lens and memory card, turn on the camers and set the date and time.
If the camers does not work charge the battery and try again.
If it still does not work then you need to send it to the Nikon service centre for repair.

MY DIGITAL CAMERE MEMORY IS FULL, WHEN I TURN ON MY CAMER IT SAID MEMORY IS FULL. I DON'T HAVE A CARD INSERTED IN BECAUSE WHEN I PUT THE CARD IN IT WON'T COME ON AT ALL. IT ONLY COMES ON WHEN I TAKE OUT OF...

camera's onboard memory is only 8MB, maybe 1 or 2 high resolution photo. delete the photo on the camera to clear error message and use only no more than 2 gig of sd card. It does not work with higher than 2 gig which is SDHC type sd card.

Everything work accept when i turn it on, it tells me the memory card is not initialized and it wont take pics

The camera wants you to format the card in the camera. This will erase the card so download any pitures on it first using a card reader if necessary.
