My computer will not turn on we had a power cut and the computer was running at the time power didnt come back till morning now and there is a blinking green light that use to be a solid green light

Try this: press the power button and the volume UP button at the same time, then release at the same time. The recovery menu should appear when you release the buttons. Sometimes it can be a little finicky. Try to make sure you're pressing the buttons exactly at the same time. I think it can work as well if you press the volume UP button first, and then the power button immediately after, holding both down at the same time, then releasing.

If all else fails, take off the back cover and disconnect the battery from the main board for 20 seconds. Re-connect the battery and try above again.

Post back if succefull or for futher help.

first you start with out accelerator .keep it running for a while .until warm up engine . check the out side temp. and keep clean always .
always start wit out accelerator .

Hello, if there is a condensate safety switch this will cut off power to the tstat if the comdensate line is backed up. Check the condensate line to make sure it is clear.

My 05 1.6 renault megane struggles to start in th morning and once it does fire up you hav to rev it to ensure it wont cut out. The car then splutters and judders a bit till its warm then it tend to run ok. but keeps on switching off at the robots when i stop please what could it be

Possible solution
If this is an i/o problem then i would suggest that you clean the computer out. Go to the computer store and buy yourself one or two cans of compressed air. When you get them you are going to want to shut down your computer and disconnect the power from everything since the next step involves opening the computer case up. Remove the screws on thew back of the unit that hold the cover on, you will be able to see which screws do what. Open the cover up and take a look, the cpu cooler plugged with dust etc. Take the air can and styart blowing the dust and dirt out of the computer, also make sure that you clean out the poiwer supply as well. This will be the place where the plugin connects to the computer. There are fans and other things in the computer as well that you should blow out. If this problem is i/o this may just fix it for you.

i think that if the engine cut off right away when the belt broke that it should still be ok ,just have to make sure it is put back aligning all the timing marks

hard wires the pump and see if the car runs ok, if so there is a problem in the power wire, possibly a dud computer or wire along the way. if this is the case an auto elec would be the best thing for it...

Hi you didnt say whether you tried changing the plug fuse,try that,if it still doesnt work then the power cut you had might have been a power spike in which case the monitor would be destroyed.Try testing the fuse in the plug first ..ok.

I had a similar problem with Coby dvd 7500 the screen was faint almost black but could hear the movie sound. I cleaned the lens as suggested but it didnt resolve the problem.

I tired to rest the player by removing the power supply cord and the battery for 30 mins as suggested in the manual but that also didnt work. What I did was left the player without battery and the power cord overnight and it did start working in the morning!!

This worked for me and hope works for you guys too...though I cant explain the reason as am novice myself. But give it a try as it really worked for me.
