I inherited a Rodenstein 200M telescope, no instructions or manual. I'm not able to find any manual or telescope with the Rodenstein name online anywhere. Any suggestions?

I have just inherited a L'optic modern Ltd Reflecting Telescope Model OMA 402, but with no assembly or useage instructions - are you able to assist? Very many thanks

This is an unknown imported reflecting style telescope. No manuals exist-- however they all assemble and are used in the same way. Here is a very similar scope made by Meade the manual for this is available at the link below:

I just inherited an Edmund Scientific telescope, and don't have the manual on it. It is large, I measured the diameter, and it is 6 1/2 inches across. I can't find any numbers, or don't know...

This is probably a reflector on an equatorial mount. Any amateur astronomer can show you how it is used. Locate a local Astronomy club -- just Google "Astronomy Clubs".

I have inherited a Bausch and Lomb 780200 telescope with no instructions as to how to set it up. I have it working but do not have the equatorial mount properly adjusted.

Is this your telescope?

If it is you can use a similar manual from TASCO-- look on this page for a reflector style telescope on an equatorial mount.

http://www.tasco.com/pages/instruction-manuals/

They all assemble and are used in a similar fashion.

I inherited a blue Skywatcher telescope about 4 years ago without instructions . it has D = 70mm and F = 900 mm printed on the side . it came with two eye peices and extender and a 45 Degree 'erecting...

Any manual for a 70mm (refractor?) style telescope will show you how to set this up. You never said what type of mount the scope is on-- Altitude-Azimuth, up down left right--- or an equatorial mount??

Anyway Meade has manuals for all of their telescopes available for free download. Go to the Meade site listed below and look under the REFRACTOR heading (or the 4.5 inch REFLECTOR) heading for one that is similar to your scope. They are all assembled and used in a similar fashion.

http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.html

and look at my TIPS on my profile page-- and read this web site-- to learn about the types of telescopes and mounts:

Have inherited Tasco Starguide telescope, missing sighter scope and instruction manual. Are these available ? Thanks.

There is a website that has a selection of manuals for telescopes for free download. It is unlikely that they will have the exact one you want, as Tasco made a large number of different models, but it is worth a look- at THIS LINK

I inherited a Sears Discover Equatoril REfractor

with all of their manuals. Look under REFRACTOR for one that is similar to your telescope. They all go together and work in a similar fashion.

Meade, model: 6600, 6", need instruction manual & eye pieces

Sorry about Meade's responses, but their website has a download section for the telescope manuals - you may not find one that matches exactly, as they produce hundreds of models, but one that is close should suffice. As for eyepieces, there are several good vendors out there; Orion Telescopes, Meridian etc. Just check the barrel size; either .965" (Japanese standard) or 1.25" (American standard).
