I just bought my Iron Man watch a couple of weeks ago and all of a sudden my alarms/timer won't work. The indiglo light flashes but there is no sound or beep. I tried resetting it by pressing all the buttons at once and it did reset it but I still can't hear the beeps or alarms despite turning on when I set the date/time. I don't want to have to buy a new one already or spend the time and money to send in to Timex to either have it fixed or replaced. Can you help me out?

Check the caseback of your watch, hold it upright turn it around. look at the markings, if the markings is doesnt match the upright postion you have to open it then put the caseback on its proper position because the part that is beeps is attached on the caseback and the machine has small spring to connect power on it. i hope i had been helped you.

How do I turn up the volume on timex ironman watch alarm?

If the spring is missing, you can wind a temporary one out of extremely fine coil wire around a sewing needle . If watch case is closed and alarm does not sound try stretching the coil slightly. If alarm comes on keep stretching coil a bit further to see if alarm gets louder. Similarly, coil may be too long if alarm does not go on. Then gently squeeze coil a little smaller and put case back together again to check alarm. If it is too soft then squeeze the coil a little more.
There is definitely a sweet spot for coil length whether hand made or store bought. Lots of fiddling but it works.

Hello , I own a timex iron man triatholon model no t5g691 , the problem is none of the buttons work . they only work when I press them all together to turn it off . I also went recently swimming with it...

this problem occur only if one of the buttons are stuck inside, because you cannot push two or more buttons at the same time unless that you have to reset the watch. 2nd probably the buttons of your watch didnot reached the contact inside, sometimes it needed to be cleaned and had to be lubricated. if still did not work. reset your watch using the reset button inside the watch. i hope this will help you a lot.

I got new timex iron man with heart rate monitor. Just after 2months indiglo lights don't function anymore. I need it badly for my early dawn workouts

Do not be so upset - any nearest watchmaker will fix it. All you need is a new battery. Visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask for a new battery to fit in. If you not satisfied: find out in my TIPS here for the manual for your watch. Explanation: When you bought the watch, it was in perfect state (allegedly), everything was working and so on. The thing you do NOT know is: battery was fitted in the workshop long ago, maybe a year or few ago before you bought it. That is OK, co'z watch companies do fit a battery at the point of watch leaving company. So, for example, you bought a brand new watch, but it is not working at all. Wind it up. Or, if you are unable to do the things we do, visit TIMEX download page. Save your nerve and watch as well - send it back and ask for replacement. You will find everything in my tips here on FixYa.

Timex Expedition, beeps very quietly and indiglo doesn't work.

To clarify... Replace the cover with the arrow on the back pointing directly at the stem. The Indiglo backlight, alarms and chimes should all work when the back cover is in this position.

My watch has 4 buttons (2 on the left, 2 on the right) plus the "Indiglo" button. Use the "Mode" button (lower left) to move between the time and the stopwatch. When seeing the stopwatch, hold the "Mode" button. This will get you to the alarm setting mode. Press the "Mode" button again to switch to the time setting mode. Use the "Start/Stop" button (upper right) to move from seconds > minutes > hour > date > day of week. Use the "Spl/Reset" button (lower right) to change the numbers.
