I can't get the controller to work. The light will come on, but the buttons won't respond. I've tried all 3 usb hubs with the computer plugged into the wall, made sure everything is plugged in, tried flipping the switch on the bottom of the controller the brand & model: Logitech gamepad f31o

I think you still have warranty, it sounds you have faulty control panel, even if it's new does not mean it is good.

It is because you are running Windows XP it is not longer supported so the two computers can "Talk" to eachother.

Check the wiring on your receiver to make sure the light wire is connected.You have to have the light on with the pull chain and then use the remote to turn it on/off.

reinstall your computer

This is a printer hardware error, you cant try below reset methods.
Power Drain:1. Unplug the printer power cord from wall and the printer, disconnect USB cable from printer.2. Press and hold the power "ON/OFF" button for 30 seconds and release it.3. Connected the power and check the printer.

Does the same error occur if you launch a scan from the computer? What OS do you have? Vista only has a basic driver available and does not support the scanner buttons. (You can launch the scans from a number of options: third-party software, Windows Fax and Scan (new scan), Microsoft Paint (File > Import from Scanner or Camera > New Scan) and Windows Photo Gallery.)

If the error occurs when you launch the scan from the computer, try a new data cable and different USB ports. Try a direct USB connection if you use a hub. Then check your USB ports and the drivers for the USB. (For Windows, look in the Device Manager. Start > Control Panel > System > Device Manager (exact directions will depend on the OS).

The HP Photo and Imaging software requires you to set the default scan destinations in the software before you can use the buttons on the scanner (for those OS/driver versions that support the feature). Always open the software and scan from the computer to see what the defaults will be. Each version of HP's imaging software set up these buttons differently; the help option is useful. Try Scan > Scan settings to find where to set the color and black & white destinations.

Plug the dongle in to the USB port, turn on the PS3 and the LED will flash a lot (as if you've pressed the connect button), then press L3 and SELECT together for 3 seconds; it'll then connect. Then press the PS button.
As long as you keep the dongle plugged in, the controller will not disconnect and won't need pairing again.

Depending on how long you've had the player, the batteries may need replacing.

I have seen a problem where the computer would not recognize the player and would not charge it, however.

First, I recommend trying to charge it directly from the computer USB port (not the hub) if possible. If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the software for the player to see if the computer will then recognize it and allow charging.

If neither of these fix the problem, it's probably time to replace the batteries.

Try deleting your usb drivers.

Right-click My Computer
Manage
Device Manager
USB Controllers
Delete (Generic USB Hub)
Restart computer
(Windows will auto-install the drivers, on reboot)

Plug your device back in, and see i've it works.

Well i'm having the same problem.
My mouse & keyboard work trough the hub, however when i plug an USB-stick in, it wont recognize it.

I've i put my USB-stick in another USB-port, it works.

So try putting your usb, in another USB-port, thats not from your hub.
