What material can I use to make a replacement lint filter for my Avanti D110 dryer? The original is about 9.5" round thin filter material that fits onto the screen lint filter. If I know what material I can use for a DIY filter I can make my own since this is fragile material and the Avanti website says it's discontinued.

BTW - it's not the screen that needs replacement. This is the somewhat scratchy fabric (just as described) that goes between at the end of what Avanti terms lint and exhaust vent shroud. you can order a filter for 11.95 for the round filter in the drum from if you go to www.avantiproducts.com and call the service numer - just tell them your model number and ask for a filter and pay while in conversation.
