Hello,

The reason the fill tube is freezing is because the tube that connects to it and connects to the water inlet valve is seeping water slowly. It's just enough water to trickle into that tube at the top and since its so cold that little trickle freezes, then the next trickle freezes and so on and so on. After enough small drops of water freeze the entire tube is frozen. To stop that replace the water inlet valve the small diameter tube connects to. The part number for that is 12002193 you could purchase it at your local applianve parts store. Or online at

After the ice maker fills up with water more water spills out of it and freezes all the ice cubes together

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

The Ice maker does not make cubes.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

Ice maker seems to be dripping water onto ice in ice container

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

Watch it when it fills with water. The fill tube could also be stopped up with ice. The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

My ice freezes together!

Do you mean the ice cubes are too large to be individual cubes and come out as a lump? The water is filled by a timed fill so if the fill solenoid stays open a little and drips water into the cube tray it will have more water than normal. I guess I'm not sure if you mean the ice cubes are stuck together in the tray or are they sticking together in the holding bin area?

The water continues to drip after the ice cube maker is full.

Sounds like the water fill solenoid valve is leaking by. You will have to change that solenoid valve if the water continues to drip into the ice maker tray after a normal fill cycle. http://www.partselect.com/AdvancedModelSearch.aspx?ModelNum=JCD2295HES&mfgModelNum=JCD2295HES&fkMfgID=1
