i have had this problem previously. sometimes it would work if i sent a message to myself. other times, i would have to just wait a few minutes, and then try again. also, i have made a call, and only then would my messages be sent. personally, i think this phone is horrible.

I have had a pantech for a while and have had similar problems. It is not a permanent solution, but this will do a bit of help. DO NOT FORGET that when deleting messages, you have to go to menu then tools and "empty deleted messages". For a short fix, and sometimes a long while, simply take out the battery, take out the SIM card, and blow out the little connection. Blow off the SIM card and battery and put everything back.

Personally I want my phone to vibrate when it's on silent so that I know I'm receiving a call or text. You can choose another option though.

i would give it a master reset, take out the batery while its on then put it back in and reboot it up then try to send a text. if thats doesnt work you should save your contacts and pics and ringtones on your computer than clear the phone reset the settings. and it should reset the network mms number. if you need help doign the reset let me know. also let me knwo if this works, it should
