A single round shower handle with no set screw or cap to remove to get to a screw. It is round in chrome with a gold band around it. The shower handle matches the sink handles. Possible close to 20 years old. I have been fixing faucets for myself for over 40 years and I am stumped on how to remove these handles

SOURCE: I have a Price Pfister Model no. 808 DK00 single

It's likely that you have some sediment that has accumulated in the cold water valve and has clogged it. The model number you have cited above is only for the trim (rather than for the valves behind it). Assuming that you have a Price Pfister valve, they don't have built in filters, so you're probably going to have to either clean or replace the valve.

SOURCE: I have an 11 year old, single handle shower

After you remove the chrome collar and plastic collar washer (behind the faucet handle), pry the beauty plate off the wall. Turn off the house main water supply. Remove the four screws and washer holding the cartridge and valve stem in place. Save the metal washer under the four screws for use with the new cartridge. Replace the stem/cartridge assembly and secure with the saved metal washer and four screws. Reinstall beauty plate, collar & collar washer, then handle.

How to fix delta shower single knob faucet

Take handle off (either set-screw from side or bottom of handle, or phillips screw under cap on end of handle), pull off sleeve that's behind handle, unscrew nut that holds cartridge (strap wrench works great) and pull cartridge out.

Can't remove valve on moen TL2377 shower faucet. I removed the handle by removing the screw. There is a chrome cup that I believe is a decorative cover over the valve stem. That is stuck and I don't want...

Take the round cover plate off and it will make getting that part off easier. You will be able to use a screw driver to help in removing it.

Be gentle and good luck

I have Kohler single handle shower, but the handle does not have a screw to remove it. How do I remove the handle. The handle was installed in the house in 1999. Thank you.

Ok I am take a stab at this. If it is a L shaped handle it is not steel but an aloy and at the end of the long part of the handle is a end cap that either screws off or pops out when pry on. The set screw should be in the handle under that.
If that is not true then the set screw has to be somewhere around the base of the handle near the shower cover plate maybe headen under a little cover that would look like a small push-in cap.

How do I remove the single faucet handle to replace it.

There is a set screw in the handle, it can either be a hex screw or it can be a philips head screw depending on which faucet you have. If you have a clear decrative handle then there is a cap that you remove and the screw is behind it. Once you remove it you can remove the other trim.

Danze shower fixture issue

If it is a single handle there should be an access hole to the under side of the handle that will allow access to a allen style set screw, loosen it and the handle can be removed.
