Not sure which Palm Treo you have, but after reading through some of the info on the different sites it states that some bluetooth devices were easily installed and others were not. It may be one of the Treo's that may need an application to download an update. Some of these were released according to the information I read, that did not have DUN installed. Whether this has anything to do with pairing your bluetooth device, I am not sure. I couldn't find a spec page for your application. Usually it is just a simple matter of going to the bluetooth application on your phone and turning on your bluetooth headset. They find each other and you have success. I would recommend talking to Plantronics tech help line at 800-544-4660 x 5538.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

220 Plantronics stopped working

Look under my name and find the previous 10-20 posts helping others with similar problems on adding/removing the existing connected device. However the Plantronics 220 Express and regular have connection problems with phones if they are far away, and sometimes get corrupt, unfortunately, for a $28.00 headset, its build for $28.00 of use.

Please review my previous posts and see if this can help you at all..

Plantronics explorer 330

I just figured out how to reset the 3XXPlatronics 330. The guest might of of made it a little confusing for some:
1) TURN OFF bluetooth head set by holding the volume control button for about a few seconds until it flashes blue.
2) Make sure your phone's bluetooth is on and on discover mode.
3) Turn on the blue tooth head set (NOTE: HOLD DOWN THE VOLUME BUTTON UNTIL IT FLASHES BLUE AND RED)
4) Lastly, go into your search menu to find new bluetooth devices. The device should show up as "3XXPlantronics" (PASSKEY IS 0000).
P.S. Keep in mind this worked for me, but if it doesn't work feel free to email me at; [email protected]

CONNECTION TO HEADSET

It should be under Menu/Connectivity/Bluetooth/Bluetooth select ON, then, My phone's visibility select Shown to all, then, My phone's name give it a name IE. Fred (you can change the name as often as you like).
There are two tabs where you are now, select the left one, go into Options select New paired device. Your phone will search for other devices, when it finds one you can pair the two, a pin number will be asked, keep things simple choose 0000 for both devices.

Palm Treo 650 doesn't see bluetooth headsets, AND wired headphone jack is shorted

Had a similar problems. Throw out wired headsets with shorting problems. Their too cheap to try and fix.

Try rebooting the phone, then make sure the wireless headset is on. The trick is to get it into "trusted devices", so when you get the phone to seek new or nearby devices, you need to push the button on the earpiece so it sends a signal at the time the phone is trying to find it. It took me a number of trys, but finally got it to work. I use Verizon and they were quite helpful, even though the phone was "out of warrenty". I was re-activating my phone after not using it for a couple of years.

MOBILE PHONE NOKIA

Pairing This was the second Bluetooth device I?ve used, and I had the headset paired in under 60 seconds once I had deciphered the instructions in the manual. When you press the call control and multifunction control buttons on the headset simultaneously, the M2500 goes into pairing mode. The standard way to get the Treo to pair is to click on the Bluetooth icon and basically follow the prompts: Turn Bluetooth on, make the device ?discoverable,? click on ?set up devices? and then ?Handsfree setup,? and the Treo will find the Plantronics headset. Once you?ve set up one Bluetooth device, you?re a pro. The only thing you need to know is the combination of buttons that puts a device into pairing mode. However, with the Plantronics M2500, I discovered an even easier method. Simply power up the Bluetooth headset while the Treo is on and you will be immediately prompted for the passcode, four zeros, if the devices are not paired. How cool is that? It saves many steps.
