I recently purchased a Windows 7 computer. When I print a photo it is faded and completely yellow. My old computer printed great pix. I have a Epson Stylus color 880 printer. Is it not compatible for photos?

* If your are printing color photos on a Glossy paper you must chose the paper type from Media Type in the Printing Properties while giving Print command. If you don't know what is the type of your glossy paper then just select other glossy paper from the given options.

its the auto white balance, its not reliable especially if using a flash. maybe you arent experimenting with all the modes and just keep using auto.

Check the White Balance...or the "WB"...it might be applying the filter. Put it on Auto.

In order to find the solution faster please try the computer hooked up to an alternate printer(take it to work and print there or a friends) OR get another computer and print to the printer. If the printer still prints out mostly yellow then their is a problem with the printer. If it prints out fine then we need to check the settings on your applications. U can check to see if there is a Broderbund patch to enable it to work in the win 7 environment. If not available, you are screwed.
Who needs seven ?- go back to XP and enjoy your program to the fullest.

Use a card reader instead of your camera.

It pretty much sounds to me like you have "outdated" or old cartridges. Are you using the photo setting to print photos? Before you purchase more expensive cartridges do a head cleaning! Good luck.

Having photographic quality copy prints made will give you far longer life than the original Polaroid. Polaroid colour dyes will shift colours and eventually fade dramatically. New photographic (and some ink jet) prints will last generations without noticeable fading.
