I HAVE A MSI MS-7131 M/B PROBLEM IS NO DISPLAY,PROCESSOR HEATING NORMALY,RAM AND CLOCK ON B16 ARE OK .NOT RESET SIGNAL ON A15,WHICH IS GENERATING RESET SIGNAL AND HOW TO SOLVE THIS

Hello here is some info about the mainboard:

http://www.motherboards.org/mobot/motherboards_d/MSI/915GLM-V%2B%2528MS-7131%2529/
More info and drivers visit the MSI homepage.
The fault could be the ram module ( wrong mhz size )
The ram module must be DDR ram, other type of ram will not fit the mainboard.
The mainboard does not support more than 2gb of ram, if more insertet the mainboard will not boot up ( no display ) and maybe a beep code will come when you try to boot.
The fault could also be the power supply, or a intenal fault on the mainboard, maybe bad capacitors or the graphic chip is burned.

Try to boot with only one ram module, and try also with another power supply you know is working.
Try also to reset the bios by removing the cmos battery for like 10 min.
The power cord must be disconnected when you do this.
Also try with a intenal AGP graphic card.

Hope you get it running

Ram ok ,power sap ok ,lcd ok, cpu fan raning but no dimply, msi 7312 ver 1.0 plzz help

Hi, you can download a manual and drivers here:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K9MM-V.html#/?div=Manual

You can add a AGP screen card if the onboard graphics
does not work.

Check the connections for the screen cable.
Try even with another monitor.

Black screen on Boot

1. Check the memory modules are correctly installed.
2. Check that all the installed ram is DDR3 - this board will not accept DDR2 andDDR3 together.
3. If you have more than one memory module remove one and try booting. If all is ok try just the other one.
4.Try with DDR2 memory

No boot with integrated vga

Hey there realxvirus, I would begin by reinstalling your ram, ensuring you are seated correctly. Your motherboard has a specific setup for high performance memory design. The ram you have installed may not be compatible with your board. Check here http://www.msicomputer.com/msiforms/k8tneo_ddr400_recommended.asp to ensure your ram is correct. I do not think the PSU is the problem assuming you have a 24 pin connection rather than the 20 pin, and power seems to get to the board. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Msi 478 socket mother board

to: pubudu,
you said that your ram is ok, but i think it's the ram which is your problem because of memory dumping with color blue. yes your ramis ok but the reason why not ok is because the latency is not compatible with your settings in bios
