conventional flush: push lever, chain lifts "flapper" over the hole to allow water to enter bowl. As water goes down in tank, flapper covers the hole to allow the tank to refill. The small tube that dumps water into the standup, larger tube is what fills the bowl back up. Otherwise it would stay in a low water position allowing sewer odors into the structure. If the water does not stop, your fill valve is not shutting off. Probably needs an adjustment. If adjustment does not fix, replay flush valve.
Reach down under the center of the steering column assembly, centered on the column just below knee height is a lever that pulls down and away. Pull the lever, move the steering column back to where you want it then re-engage the lever until flush with the surrounding fascia panel.
I had this issue as well with my toilet. My chain was unattached and had been sucked down the drain under the
stopper valve preventing the toilet stopper valve from completely
closing and causing the water to continually run. After re-attaching the
chain I noticed when I flushed the toilet that the handle did not rise
again until I manually pushed it up. After readjusting the chain to a
tighter position where the chain was not floating at all but instead
holding the stopper valve in place I again flushed to check the
reaction. This fixed the issue of the water continually running and also
the handle not resetting itself properly.
Here is the steps I took to resolve my issue:
Step 1: Remove the lid off of the tank.
Step 2: Check to see if the chain coming from the Toilet Handle to the Stopper Valve is loose, unattached, or broken.
Step 3: Flush the toilet and check to see if the problem has been fixed. If not readjust the chain to a different position and flush again.
Step 4: If all is resolved replace the tank lid.
Other possible things to check: Check the Float Ball to see if it's Half-way or more submerged in the water. If it is it needs to be replaced.
Assuming we are talking about a standard flush toilet, it sounds like the internal flush actuator lever is hitting the top of the toilet on the inside. Remove the lid, hold the exterior handle. and carefully bend the lever down a little. Also make sure the lever hasn't slipped or is loose. Put the lid back on try again. Repeat until the toilet flushes with the lid on.
Try this first
Lower the lock lever.
The printer may not recognize the print head is installed or the printer may display errors if the lever is not in a locked position.
Press the <Open> button and lift the scanning unit.
Open the inner cover.
Wait until the print head holder has stopped moving.
Check the lock lever to ensure it is in a down position.
If the lever is not down, individually remove each ink tank.
Lift the lock lever and ensure the back of the print head is flush with the holder.
If it is not flush, slide the print head out of the holder and gently slide it back into position.
Slowly lower the lock lever until you hear a 'snap' sound and it locks into place.
Re-insert each ink tanks making sure a click is heard each time.
Close the scaning unit until it locks into place. If the print head was removed, perform a print head alignment.
Let me know if this works, otherwise we can try some other things. Thanks.
