Downloading Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer,you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

Need the windows xp driver for a nextar ma852-801. All they have on their website is for win 98
Hi, newer operating systems from windows 98 do not require a driver for a mp3 player, since you just plug it in and it will work, if its not working test with another pc, if it doesn't work on any pc, then your mp3 player may be faulty.

Nextar t30 windows 7 compatibility

Nextar mp3 player won't work and computer can't find it to download music
This is common for most cheaply made media players and Win 7 pc's. Boot Windows in safe mode (press F8 after bios post but just be for Windows boots) then conect your media play. Windows sound and auto run features are not running in safe mode. So just open my computer to access your usb mp3 player.

I have the nextar MA933A MP3 Player. Windows 7 doesn't read it right. I have music on it but win7 says the folder is empty
Here is one possible solution:

Take this Nextar piece of cr*p, and give it back to the retailer, wish them luck, and buy and Ipod. The Nextar MA933A is no more than a $12.99 paperweight, if you got ripped off like I did. The nextar website has not posted any support for this problematic junk, except for a Windows 98 driver, like anyone has that anymore. I think their servers are still on Windows 3.1, which is all they can afford, since they most certainly could not pay their research and development department enough to produce a quality product. CHEERS! :)

The nextar MA 797 mp3 player says it is mac compatible but its not working (I run OSX 10 6 1)
I have the same problem and I bought 4 of them. One for each of my family members. I thought at first that it was because they needed to charge but after having all 4 charge they still do not work. Fix this or contact me so you can send me a prepaid shipping container and send me my money back.

Nextar MA 166 MP3 Won't Charge
You have to install the software for the mp3 player BEFORE connecting the mp3 player to the computer, or else Windows XP will override the native drivers. That particular Nextar is not compatible with Windows Vista, so you may have a problem if you have a newer computer.
