Best regards, i can say that it really problem, that problem with 64 bit, driver problems will be all time with printers, scaners, webcams, and other. I think will be better, if you reinstall windows 7 32 bit, for work without probles.
mine 4520s is core i5. it also gets hot just below the touch pad but the upper surface remains cool. i think this problem is with all the probook's series. better learn to live with it
