Sorry I can not help. I had to work that day. My wife was home and she told me he went into some kind of service or maintenance menu on the TV by pressing some button combination. Again, sorry I can not help you. I can give you the information of the company if you want to call them.

How can I change language for a clarion NX 309 from Japanese to Engligh?

I hear ya. I would use Google Translate with my smartphone camera to try to decode the Japanese, far enough to get to a language menu, where you can select English as the language.

Above is a manual link. usually you use multiple presses on the buttons to get to the menus. One button, is menu, the others are for up.down & left/Right. The same as for Horz Posn. You press the menu, use the L/R buttons to go to the menu item, then up and down to + or - the setting.
have a look at the manual.

The restaurant i'm working for is changing to pc-america's cre pos. the old pos prints the food orders and table #'s in a large font on the kitchen printer. i am looking for a way to configure cre's...

As far as I know, there is no way to change the font settings in CRE (I hope you mean RPE). But, you may be able to change the default settings in the printer itself to get larger print. I am available for tech help if you need it, but you should have 3 months free support from PCAmerica with the purchase. I also do custom menu support for RPE. [email protected]

Horizontal view on screen will not re-center

You want to locate Position or Horiz Position from the Menu screen. Press menu first then Up or Down to select the item you want then Left or Right, I can't be more specific as all monitors are different - but there isn't a single button to center. You could also try the different input settings (Analog, Digital, etc) if the Autoselect isn't working properly.
