When turn power on the screen is not turning on is still blank

Are there any beeps following? If there is one long and two short, then is a graphic card problem and you'll have to take laptop to service.

well i had a problem like that where you could hear it booting up but the screen was completely black, what i did was unplug my computer and let it sit for a day and let the battery die and then i turned it on and it worked fine after that. i dont know if that is going to work for you but its worth a try

Try reseating the memory one stick at a time in each slot one at a time and see if you can get video that way. If you can't constantly get video after this then take out the hard drive and then the dvd drive,
If your still getting intermittent video then the motherboard might be bad. You can also try another stick of known good working memory to make sure the existing ones you have are good.
If your still getting intermittent video then the moterboard is bad and would need to be replaced.
