Lenovo 3000 N200 battery wont charge

It went into hibernate as the battery was low. I plugged in to charge the battery and the battery is not charging. The battery light flashes red for about a monute then stops. I have tried removing the battery and putting it in again. I guess its a battery problem?

Lenovo 3000 N200 battery not charging.

I just had the same problem. My battery had discharged to less than zero and would not start even though the power plug was in. I tried everything... but what fixed it for me was to remove the power plug, remove the battery, plug in the power cord and start the machine. Once the machine was already booted, I put the battery in and it started charging. Dont know if that will fix your problem, but it fixed mine.
