Hi, Red light flashing on tv indicates that tv got some problem and shifted to protection mode to avoid further damage. If Lamp light is flashing on tv then check lamp that would be dead or broke, replace lamp to solve tv problem. Hi, Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655. Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen. Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure. Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem. Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years? Thanks.
yeah, should stay red when unit is turned off, indicating there's power but it's doing nothing.
Per user manual:
Solid red - power off (standby mode)
blinking red - power off (now cooling)
blinking green - power on (preparing to light lamp)
solid green - power on
LG DLP PROJECTION TV (RU-44SZ63D) Tv light is off (with red light on). When I hit the power on button the red tv light starts blinking. Light continues to blink red then stops blinking and goes back to off (red light on).
