On top of the head there is a button to press to lock the blade arbor. Press it down and turn the blade by hand until it locks in place. Then you need either a spanner wrench or nut wrench depending on which arbor nut you have. Grinders usually come with whichever wrench they need. Most grinders have an arbor nut with two or four holes and require a spanner wrench with two studs that fit into two of the holes to remove the arbor nut. Some have an arbor nut with a hex fitting, like a regular nut & bot setup, that the arbor wrench fits on. If you don't have the proper wrench sometimes you can get the arbor nut off with a pair of vice grips or pliers. You will want to turn the nut in the same direction as the blade spins when the grinder is on to remove it. When you put the new blade on, get the arbor nut hand tight, it is self tightening and will get tighter as you use the grinder.
Krups is among one of the foremost names in coffeemakers, espresso
machines, blenders and toaster ovens. Krups also makes coffee bean
grinders, such as the Krups 203a. This portable, plug-in grinder has a
removable lid and bean grinder chamber. The blade on the Krups bean
grinder is fastened to the bottom of the grinder chamber. You may need
to replace the blade on your Krups 203. The Krups 203 comes with a
limited 1-year warranty, but the company recommends you send your
grinder to the company to make repairs. Order replacement parts for your
grinder by calling the Krups customer service department at
1-800-526-5377.
1 Unplug your Krups grinder from the wall.
2 Remove the grinder's lid, and use a cloth to wipe out the inside of the grinder chamber.
3 Put your safety gloves on and then grasp the blade of the grinder with your channel locks.
4 Use the pliers to turn the
plastic fastening nut to the left as you continue to hold the blade with
the channel locks. Once the plastic nut comes loose, twist it off by
hand and remove it, along with the plastic washer beneath it and the old
blade.
5 Set the new blade in place, and
replace the washer and nut. You will have to hold the new blade in place
with the channel locks as you tighten the securing nut.

Insert a small standard screwdriver in the slot in the center of the bottom. Turn the blade slowly until you feel the screwdriver catch in the slot. This holds the motor still so you can simply unscrew the blade counter-clockwise. Do the same to hold the motor from turning while you screw the new blade on clockwise.
