Your best bet is to go to a local video game store, where they will be able to remove the settings through a data transfer. If that doesn't work , you may have to get a new hard drive. You can always recover an xbox live account from another xbox, so don't worry about losing your account (unless the account was never connected to Xbox Live in the first place, then there's a good chance you lost your account).
Go to the system info screen under console settings. HIt Left trigger, Right trigger, x, y, Left bumper, Right bumper, up, left bumper, left bumper, X.
You have to do it quickly or it wont work. This will put it back to factory default setting

Hi,
did you try removing the mains plug, and leaving it off for about 24 hours ??
not sure whether these have a CMOS battery or not.
option 2, if it,s a premium ( with hard Drive ) try removing the hard-drive. Password/Timer probably setting on there rather than the Console.
