Error Code "F76"

Hi again, I had posted previously about this model, but listed the error code as "F74" by accident. There is no mention in the owners manual of any error codes except "F61". I've been everywhere on the net I can think of, but Panasonic is very protective of their tech. info, so I doubt anyone who hasn't worked for an authorized service depot will know what it signifies. I suspect it is the o/p stage of the amplifier, but as it only powers up for about 2 seconds before a relay clicks & the error code is displayed, (speakers connected or not), it is next to impossible to troubleshoot without the service manual, or at least knowing what that code means. Thanks BowerR64 & Techman for responding, if this corrected info sheds any light for anyone, please let me know. Thanks!

1.If unit powered up for short time comes message for short time "Wait"

Then error "F76" and unit totally turn OFF. Problem w/ Power Supply.

2.If unit doesn't turn OFF but on the display error "F76" may be AMP Board.

Turn OFF the unit, disconnect cable from main board to AMP board. Try now power ON.
If doesn't come more error "F76" it means doesn't work AMP.

Techman is right, "F76" is displayed when the speaker cord connections are hooked up wrong. If they're hooked up right and you still get the error, it is a power supply problem.

Hello. f76 is a psu problem. The main filter cap will hold charge for ages and so needs discharging before doing anything on this pcb. A 100 watt 240vac bulb with a pair of jumper leads on it and well insulated is best for all psu's, dont just short it out with a screwdriver or anything else. This cap bites hard. The very first thing to do is remove the 10 uf 50v cap near the main primary driver ic and replace it even if it looks ok. This solves the problem most of the time. Obviously look for bulging caps on the secondary and replace them. Most important is discharging the main filter cap.

How do we stop beeping of oven with f76 code

Unfortunately, the F76 code means that the control panel/keypad could be faulty for some GE-manufactured ovens. Since the keypad and control board are sold as a single unit, it's not the cheapest fix. Try disconnecting the power to the oven (unplug or trip the circuit breaker) for at least a minute. Sometimes a longer period (5 minutes+) without power helps reset the error code. If the error returns, please add a comment with the model number of the oven. I may be able to find a parts list for you.

I hope this helps.

Sc 900 error code appear

Hi
You don't mention the make or model of your printer/copier, but a quick Google would indicate that it is a Ricoh machine.
I give below a link to a site which lists many models of many makes of printer and error codes. their description and cause, which will help you identify what is wiring and correct it:
Error Codes Ricoh Aficio SP4100N Code 900
On this site you can change the make, model, and error code on your machine by using the drop down menus near the top of the page. Also you can download a pdf format Service Manual for the machine by using the link just above the error table.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

How do I fix the copier if it says call for service?

Hi
You don't mention any error code that may shown and which would identify where the fault is. A full list of error codes can be found here:
Error Codes Sharp ARM355

and from here you can also get a pdf format service manual for this model which in combination with the error code explanation may enable you to fix your machine. On the error code page you can also change the model of your machine if you need to by using the drop down menu in the centre of the page.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

Getting a f76 code on model # ncc-199 sv

F76 is usually a communication error between the remote and the heater. you may have just unplugged something inside the unit while it had power (don't do that). Just unplug the unit from the wall (or flip the breaker) and wait 10 sec and plug it back in again and the problem should fix itself. Otherwise there my be a loose wire going to your remote. In which case, try unplugging the remote and unit for 10 sec and plug the unit (only) back in with the remote disconnected. run your hot water and see if it works. if so it could be a problem with the remote or its wiring.

I have the same problem with my Panasonic model SAHT-40. I get the same code plus popping and shortly reads maximum overload then cuts off. I disassembled my unit and discovered that my fan fails 2 work causing the unit it over heat. I called Panasonic 2 place an order 4 a cooling fan. This model is obsolete they dont even manufacture parts 4 this unit anymore. The closest that I can get with my credit card is Samsung model AH31-00056B cooling fan through Panasonic. I hope that this solution helps all of u out with ur unit!

My whirlpool duet washer displays an "F 74" error code. We had a power outage, the washer is plugged into a surge protector. I called whirlpool last night - they had me unplug for around 10 minutes, plug...

F74 is not a valid fault code. If it was F14, then it was bad eeprom value (on timer board).
Try tripping circuit breaker or unplugging the power cord. Connect power back and follow reset procedure again, that will reset NVRam.
Ensure that there is no water inside the machine. If there is water, while machine is disconnected, empty water.
If that does not work, the control board may be defective.
