I ordered same unit. Came to me with motor spinning backward. Was wired incorrectly. When I fixed the wiring started making perfect floss.

Not sure if you have purchased it or hired for an event. Elite appears to be more of an event hire company and not makers of Candy floss machines. If you are looking for instructions on how to use these gadgets then this youtube video might be of help. It might help if you provide the model number of the appliance you have.

On commercial machines there are leather floaters (tabs) that create the wind that floats the cotton candy mid bowl. If they are missing, or twisted the wrong direction the floss will fall to bottom of bowl.

Twist the leathers like an airplane propeller with the leading edge down, to force the breeze upwards. If they are twisted backwards the sugar falls and collects around the head.
