My phone shows "invalid sim"

If your phone displays the 'Insert correct simcard' then your phone is currently locked to particular network. You need to unlock to use it with other network.
There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way. I will suggest the website Unlock-zone.com which is doing good service and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.
I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.

If your phone can only use Globe SIM, that means the phone is locked with Globe. I suggest that you bring it to a local phone technician to have it unlock but that will void the warranty of your phone.

With this issue, we need Globe's assistance. Follow the instructions below.

1. Enter the number *#06# in your phone's keypad and press OK.
2. This gives you the 15-digit International Mobile Equipment Identification (IMEI) number, which your provider will use to give the unlock code for your specific phone. Write it down and keep it handy.
3. Contact Globe and ask for an unlock code. Verify your account information and provide the IMEI number. Write down the unlock code for you will use it to unlock the sim card.
4. Remove the cover and battery. Insert the Globe SIM card.
5. Turn on your cell phone. Enter the unlock code and press the "OK" button. Your phone will activate to your provider's network and will let you use the Globe SIM card again.
