The red "on" light is blinking and the TV

I have unplugged the set several times and disconnected the HDMI cables. If I let the set sit for about 20-30 minutes and plug everything in it will turn on.

A suggestion: unplug set and try to turn on again; if power light blinks does it blink in a sequence?

3 blinks repeated will mean a problem in the Convergence area.

5 blinks repeated will mean a short on the 140 volt line.

These are the two most common error codes.

I have tried everything that people suggested and I have not fixed yet I hae not changed fuse. Light blinks 3 times.

Three blinks means short and 98% of the time it is in the convergence circuit; repair requires getting at the chassis, being able to solder and parts cost on internet would be under 25 dollars.

Look at the owner manual as the 10 blinks is a error code or Google the model number to locate that information--Sony error codes are general and often misleading.

I would if looking at the set inspect the lamp first.

Before going OFF, the standby LED might blink. These blinks are fault indication. The number of blink should be counted. Count the number of blinks at one time, before the TV goes OFF. [eg: 4 blinks Power SOS P Board; 6 blinks Driver SOS 1 SU / SD / SC Boards
(SC energy recovery circuit)] and so on. you can get more details from this site named 'Electro-help'. You can reach it by searching the keyword "electronicshelponline" by internet.

the red picture is because the optical block is bad now this part cost about $500 plus labor , when you took the lamp out you need to put the door back otherways the tv wont wort

Heard a pop , bulb blew out , replaced bulb , it worked for two days , now red light blinks three times pauses then three times and so on , tv won't turn off light won't turn off unless I unplug...

3 blinks indicates lamp door is not on or has not been reinstalled properly. This also could mean the lamp door switch has failed itself. Try removing the lamp door and putting back on, if that doesnt correct the problem then I recommend having the switch replaced.

I would suggest replacing the board itself, chances are what caused those fuses to blow is still faulty. did you check those fuses again after you powered it back up?
