I have an acer 4220 and i am aware there is an inbuilt bluetooth, i have also tried to download a bluetooth driver after changing my OS to windows 7. gets the download right but when running the setup it tells me to make sure bluetooth plugin must be well fixed and all that. i just dont know what to do

Sorry to say that,Your Notebook doesn't support Windows 7,But still you can give it a try to this driver which is for Vista Service Pack 1.

Most of the Drivers meant for Windows Vista Works with Windows 7 as they are develop using more or less in the same platform.

Acer aspire 4715z does support Microsoft windows 7 but Acer doesn't release any driver till date. so, it's almost impossible to get the driver for windows 7.

but there's a way to work out.

just download the driver for windows vista using the link below

Follow this step
Select Product Family : Notebook
Select Product Line     : Aspire
Select Product Model  : Aspire 4715z

All the driver will be listed below, by default the driver listed is for microsoft windows vista Home premium.

Download all the drivers that you need.

Now, install those driver meant for windows Vista in windows 7, Most of them or all of them will work as 90% of the driver meant for windows vista works fine with windows 7.

Now, make sure you have internet  access through a LAN or wireless network.
